Psychotherapy & Sound Bath
Psychotherapy, often referred to as “talk therapy,” is a range of treatments designed to offer emotional relief by helping individuals overcome mental health concerns and challenging life circumstances within a safe, non-judgmental space where they can express and process their feelings and emotions. Psychotherapy is a collaborative process between a therapist and client focused on changing the thought patterns, behaviors, and feelings that may be causing distress or functional difficulties.
Psychotherapy can help you develop healthier habits and coping mechanisms, enhance your relationships by improving your communication and interpersonal skills, and promote personal development and increased self-awareness. Therapists will seek to assess your specific issues, goals, and preferences and then offer a customised path forward that draws on multiple evidence-based therapeutic techniques to maximize the potential for positive outcomes.

Complimentary Discovery Call (15 minutes)
This brief video or phone session is a way for you to get to know Nicole and for her to get to know you. Whether you’re dealing with an acute life stressor, need help managing long-time concerns, or are seeking support and accountability along your personal growth journey, you’ll have the opportunity to discuss your reasons for seeking counselling support, ask questions and understand potential treatment options.
Initial Psychotherapy Consult Session (60 minutes)
Individuals 18+
An initial consult session is required for all psychotherapy clients attending talk therapy and/or sound bath-assisted talk therapy. During this first session, Nicole will go over consent forms, discuss the therapeutic process and answer any questions you may have. She will look to understand your reason(s) for seeking support and she will want to learn more about your life and personal history. Together, you will explore your goals for treatment and discuss potential treatment approaches, including the incorporation of sound therapy.
Talk Therapy Follow up Session (50 minutes)
A talk-based personal counselling session focused on helping individuals process their personal concerns, adapt their perspective and change their circumstances. Nicole draws on a range of counselling modalities including Experiential and Humanistic Therapies, Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies, Psychodynamic Therapies and Somatic Therapies to support her clients.

Sound Bath-Follow up Assisted Talk Therapy (60 minutes*) In Person only (Mondays)
An in-person counselling session that combines talk therapy with sound therapy in the form of a therapeutic quartz crystal singing bowl sound bath designed to support deep introspection and assist in the releasing of stress and the regulation of the central nervous system to promote relaxation. Each session will begin with a talk therapy portion followed by a sound bath tailored to your needs. Nicole’s sound baths are informed by Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Chakra system, Ayurveda, Mindfulness, neuroscience, and Nicole’s intuitive guidance. Her therapeutic soundscape offerings feature a tailored combination of quartz crystal singing bowls, chimes, voice, metal signing bowls and other instruments. Following the sound bath, the session will close with an opportunity to debrief and reflect.
